Robotics at Stanford

Last year (in April), I took the boys to Stanford for a Robotics demonstration.  Stevie and Wyatt were not so interested, but Marky took to it. 
 
 
He was completely mesmorized by the robots. 

Steve has since taken the kids to the Tech Museum to see more of the robots. 
 
 
The TurtleBot was a huge hit with Marky.  He put posters of it in his room.

California Cousin Time


We love when our California Cousins come to visit.  Three extra cute boys around the house is always a good thing.

 
The boys sure love when reinforcements come to town. 

 
And of course, the girl cousins must stick together.

Nice Sister-in-Love time. 
 
 Nice to see my younger brother and his adorable family.  We love them and wish they lived closer.  Sam and Kelly are such great parents and make the cutest kids. 
  
 Henry wasn't quite in the mood to be in the pictures.  ;)
 

After much coaxing, he agreed to give us one shot.

New Years- Minute to Win It and Fear Factor

For New Year's Eve, the family came over.  We enjoyed Sheila's yummy dips and dinner.  

The cousins began the evening playing Apples to Apples.

We then played Minute-to-Win-It games.  
















We then played Fear Factor.  
 Everyone joined in.  Loving Chelsea's face with the lemon.  

Clearly, this was not a favorite for Kate.  
 Or Stevie. . . 

These two were cracking me up.  They were taking it all in (literally).

Christmas Morning

The kids excitedly wait on the stairs to come down.  Tommy was also very excited to get up.  The teenager had not made an appearance yet.  



Santa brought Matt an ITunes gift card, Stevie new rollerblades, Chelsea a baton, and Marky a Skylanders set.  The kids were very happy.  

Marky was so excited to get the Skylanders.












Stevie made a Star Wars Lego ship kit for Marky.  It had pictures and instructions.  

 The tag was the "best."

Marky got Matt a big box of popcorn.  Matt was very excited about this gift.  

 Matt was also excited about Marky's Batman gift.  Matt would have loved this when he was little.  

My parents came up for the morning for breakfast and Tommy found himself a nice lap to sit on.
