We did our traditional throw into the ocean what we don't want to bring into the new year. Feel so blessed that our backyard is this bit of paradise.
We then wrote a word that would be our 2023 word.

Chef and Sous Chef
Matt prepping for 4th of July dinner and his sous chef Mark (working on his cooking merit badge) and
also, bringing his inner Guy Fieri to the kitchen. We spent the summer making many recipes in
Guy Fieri's cookbook.
The meal that Matt introduced us to is smoked queso and it was a game changer.
